What it does
- Evidence you can show
- Every step is recorded with time, IP address and device, each event chained to the one before it by a SHA-256 hash, starting from the document's own hash.
- Signed certificate
- A certificate PDF lists every signer, how they were verified, their signature and the full event trail, bound to the original document by its hash.
- In order or all at once
- Signers sign one after another or in parallel, with reminders and an expiry date per request. Anyone can decline with a reason.
This is a simple electronic signature under South Africa's ECTA. Documents the law says need an advanced electronic signature or wet ink, such as suretyships, wills and some deeds, cannot be signed this way.
